Being Alone Doesn't Equal Loneliness
"What a lovely discovery to learn that being alone isn't lonely at all."
Solitude. A word that holds such different meanings to so many. Some may fear this word, associating it with loneliness, isolation, or boredom. But for those who see solitude for all it truly is, can see the opportunity for growth, relaxation and peace within.
Spending time alone gives you a chance to connect deeper with yourself and explore all the different parts of you. This is so important, especially for spiritual growth.
Take the butterfly for example. Butterflies will spend days alone in their cacoon growing and becoming their most beautiful selves, the self they were brought here to become. The same can be true for you as well if you take the time to listen to and nurture your inner self.
Being alone doesn't have to equate to loneliness. In fact, the more time you spend alone the more you will learn to value that time, your boundaries, and yourself.
Take some time for YOU this weekend and get to know yourself a little more. You may be amazed at what you discover.
